Are we good developers ?

Hello there ! It's been a while. I've been busy and tired lately, and I keep postponing writing a new post. I have some thoughts I want to share here, but I really need to organize my routine. Anyway, let's get straight to the content.

Lately I've been thinking, what makes us good developers or engineers ?

• completing tasks ?
• helping team dev's achieve their full potential ?
• delivering results ?
• becoming a specialist in a specific language ?
• being adaptable and solving problems ?
• all of the above options ?

With this question in mind, there was another question ticking in my head, when I was trying to find the answer to it:

What truly makes me happy as a professional ?

It's really hard find the answer for these questions, and to be honest with you, I still didn't find the definitive answer for it. As we are live and change, it's possible that theses answers may change, it's possible that we’ll even give up searching for them.

For now this is all that I have, if you've read this far, maybe this questions will be on your head now, and maybe that's a good thing.
